📝 Editor's Take The Jackhammer reports we can verify are all from early fall and all produced good fish. At Lake Mishima on September 24 it was fished with a Balbuta trailer, alongside a Gap Jig and Balbuta, for six bass from 40 to 48 cm in stained water at 22°C. At Lake Nanairo it produced a 45.0 cm (1,180 g) in the main river on October 3, and a 50-plus fish across from the launch on October 11, when the lake had been drawn down hard and most anglers were struggling. It kept producing on days the lake reports called tough.
